Monday Evening Meditation

Deepen your meditation practice as we transition from the cultivation of physical steadiness into the subtler layers of the mind. This course bridges the gap between Kaya Sthairyam (Body Stillness) and Antar Mouna (Inner Silence).

Together, we will explore the state of Pratyahara—the withdrawal of the senses. Here, the mind moves from active engagement to a place of quiet observation, allowing you to become a compassionate witness to the passing flow of thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

What to Expect:
• Preparation: Each class begins with 30 minutes of gentle movement designed to release physical tension and prepare the nervous system for stillness.

• The Practice: Guided meditation focusing on the "Witness Consciousness," learning to stay centered amidst the internal chatter.

• The Outcome: A deeper sense of mental spaciousness and the ability to remain anchored regardless of external or internal shifts.

Is this right for me?
While no previous yoga or meditation experience is strictly necessary, this course explores more subtle mental states.

Absolute Beginners: If you are brand new to seated practice, you may prefer my Wednesday Kaya Sthairyam class, which focuses specifically on establishing comfort and stillness in the physical body as a foundational step.

What you'll need:
Comfortable clothing
Yoga mat
Something to sit on, ideally a bolster or firm cushion, or a chair.
Blanket and cushions as required

This class is offered on a pay as you feel basis, sign up, show up and see how it lands!

Yoga With Lee Baz

Based in South West Wales, I offer a balanced approach to yoga that includes asana, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra. I completed my 500-hour training at the Sri Mandala Yoga Ashram over an 18-month period, a program that provided me with a robust foundation in both the physical mechanics and the traditional philosophy of yoga.

My classes are designed to help you build functional strength and improve flexibility through a clear, foundational approach. We start with the basics, giving you the space to explore postures in a way that respects your body’s unique needs.

While we focus on the physical, I believe movement is only the beginning. Every class integrates intentional breathwork and relaxation, creating the space for you to develop a more sustainable, meaningful practice that extends well beyond the mat.
