1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using My Yoga Class ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
My Yoga Class is a platform that connects yoga teachers with students. Teachers can list classes, courses and retreats; manage bookings; and accept payments. Students can discover and book yoga sessions. The Platform facilitates these connections but is not itself a yoga provider.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
4. Liability Waiver
Yoga involves physical activity. By booking a class, course or retreat through the Platform, you confirm that you feel well enough to participate and that you will listen to your body and rest or stop if something does not feel right. You understand that you practise at your own risk and that neither the Platform nor the teacher can be held responsible for any injury, except where this cannot be limited by law.
5. Teacher Responsibility
Teachers using the Platform are independent providers. They are responsible for their own insurance, qualifications and compliance with local regulations. The Platform does not verify teachers' qualifications or insurance beyond the documents they upload.
6. Payments and Refunds
Payments for classes, courses and retreats are made directly to or through the teacher. Refund and cancellation policies are set by each teacher. The Platform may facilitate payment processing but is not responsible for refunds or disputes between teachers and students.
7. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. Teachers may export their yogi contact data for their own records in compliance with data protection requirements.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the Platform for any illegal purpose; harass or harm others; impersonate any person or entity; interfere with the Platform's operation; or scrape or collect data without permission.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by My Yoga Class. You may not copy, modify or distribute our content without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Yoga Class shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
