Gentle Yoga and Meditation
This is an hour long online class with a focus on the practice of Kaya Sthairyam meditation.
We begin with half an hour or so of gentle yoga Asana practice to prepare the body for stillness, followed by 20 minutes or so of guided meditation during which the mind is taken away from the distraction of every day thoughts and drawn into a focus on the sensations arising in the physical body.
This is the practice of developing conscious physical stillness. By training the body to remain steady, we create the essential foundation for mental clarity and deeper states of meditation.
What to expect:
The class is designed to transition you from the busyness of your daily life into a state of focused, quiet presence.
• Preparation: We begin with mindful movement to release tension and prepare the body for sustained posture.
• The Practice: We settle into the core of Kaya Sthairyam, learning to observe the physical body, release unconscious movement, and refine our relationship with stillness.
Who is this for?
This class is suitable for anyone—from complete beginners to experienced practitioners—looking to build a more stable, comfortable, and focused meditation practice.
What you'll need:
Comfortable clothing
Yoga mat
Something to sit on, ideally a bolster or firm cushion, or a chair.
Blanket and cushions as required
Ideally enough space to move a little in all directions
This is a 'pay as you feel class' - all are welcome!

Yoga With Lee Baz
Based in South West Wales, I offer a balanced approach to yoga that includes asana, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra. I completed my 500-hour training at the Sri Mandala Yoga Ashram over an 18-month period, a program that provided me with a robust foundation in both the physical mechanics and the traditional philosophy of yoga.
My classes are designed to help you build functional strength and improve flexibility through a clear, foundational approach. We start with the basics, giving you the space to explore postures in a way that respects your body’s unique needs.
While we focus on the physical, I believe movement is only the beginning. Every class integrates intentional breathwork and relaxation, creating the space for you to develop a more sustainable, meaningful practice that extends well beyond the mat.
